Northfield Nursery School Teacher and Director, Kathy Lansing, has been inspiring students at NNS for over 25 years.  She pours her heart and soul into helping little ones to explore their curiosity and soak-up real life experiences.  When asked about her favorite activity to share with the students of NNS, she responded, “I love the extra experiences we provide for our little students, such as the art crawl and farmer’s market.”

She takes pride that NNS is “an inviting and wonderfully organic place to grow and learn.”  And, while she enjoys exploring the outdoors with students throughout the school year through play and nature hikes, she enjoys being outside while gardening and playing with her grandchildren during the summer, too.  Kathy takes the time to better understand the children at NNS, and encourages preschool parents to, “Be ready to watch your child grow by leaps and bounds as they begin to see themselves as learners and as a part of a circle of friends who will share in discovery and fun.  Listen to them and talk to them!”
